Donate Blood Always, for No Reason or May Be A Reason
The first time I donated blood I don't remember but yes I do remember a smile on a lady's face who is no more with me, but she had always encouraged the cause. Thanks to Simon Saroj Palanchoke.
It was the end of the year 2011, the year to be remembered for 2 things - my government job and Simon Saroj Palanchoke. The first reason is evident enough for anyone to be on cloud seven. The latter reason came as a surprise to me. It was Mr. someone out of nowhere calling me at my personal number. It was the seventh occasion when an unknown person had contacted me in a year for help regarding blood donation. Though I was in Chandigarh at that moment, my availability in Delhi and requirement date coincided and I was glad to meet Mr Simon (who is at present in Nepal). For me, it was not a difficult task to donate blood as I had been used to this noble cause. I hardly saw the lady whom I donated blood, neither at that moment nor anytime later. Her family showed a noble gesture by thanking me. Really, it’s a matter of feeling pride. For me, a few things have mattered the most in the past while donating blood, maybe most of us also would also agree with my conclusion.
- Feeling satisfied after donating blood every time you come forward for this cause.
- We are not even near to comparison to God, but what if we are able to save even a single life in our whole life by donating blood. Most of us often come out of the blood donation centre thinking about it.
- The satisfaction that I will be replacing my old blood with a new one and get ready for the next blood donation.
- A smile on your face.
Concluding, I would like to request you all to come forward and join this noble cause of blood donation.
